Our journey began in October 2010 with a small group of people who longed for the church to be a place of hope where lives could be changed by the love of God, and for this to overflow into our town and community.
We are grateful that we are a church where lives are changing. A place where people can come as they are but don’t stay as they are. A place where people are giving their yes to God, experiencing life in a new way and generously giving it away to those around them.
Carrickfergus Vineyard meet every Sunday morning from 10:30 in Carrickfergus Academy Junior Site, on the Downshire Road.
Our service is informal and relaxed. We love to gather together to worship God through song and hear a biblically based talk each week. Theres also opportunity for prayer and connection with each other.
Being a Christian isn’t just coming to church on a Sunday morning. We believe that we do not come to church, we are the church. We are a family through Jesus. That’s why there are many mid-week opportunities to come together, learn from each other, pray for each other, be family together and bless those around us.
Our Life Groups are an essential part of church life. They offer a smaller sized gathering where we can come together to worship, explore the bible and pray for each other.
In the Vineyard we believe that God has called us to be compassionate people, looking out for the poor, the sick and the hurting, to bring glory to God. If you’d like to find out more about our compassion ministries, click here.
There are many different events over the course of the year which offer further connection with each other. Some gather to worship and hear from God’s Word and others are more social. Have a look at our events page for what’s coming up!
